Dr. Keith Gordon:
Dr. Gordon graduated from Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1990 after receiving an undergraduate degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Northwestern University. He started working at Walnut Street Veterinary Clinic in 1995, and brought the clinic to it's new location on Cornell Road in 2011. His family has two golden retrievers, two cats, three chickens and a rabbit.
Dr. Gordon believes that people's lives are enriched by their interactions with pets, and by taking care of our pets, we become better people. Dr. Gordon is certified to perform the Penn Hip procedure and performs radiographs for the OFA to screen for hip dysplasia. He is also trained to perform the Tibial Tuberosity Advancement (TTA) procedure for canine cranial cruciate injuries. He is skilled in chronic ear infection issues, orthopedics and allergic conditions in dogs and cats.
Dr. Randy Larrison:
Dr. Randy Larrison graduated from Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998, after receiving his undergraduate degree in animal science at Oregon State University. He has special interests in internal and geriatric medicine. Educating clients, especially new puppy and kitten owners, is important to Dr. Larrison as this establishes that important bond between the pet and family that will last the rest of their lives.
Dr. Larrison enjoys outdoor and sport related activities. The dogs pictured in the photo are Meat (L) and Howie (R).
Dr Katie Markusen:
Dr. Markusen, a native oregonian, is a graduate of Oregon State College of Veterinary Medicine and joined our practice in 2006. Dr. Markusen is particularly interested in preventative, geriatric and internal medicine. She believes that educating owners, while providing compassionate, quality medical care to be essential in helping them make good decisions about the care of their pets.
In her free time, Dr. Markusen enjoys exploring the outdoor opportunities here in Oregon, activities with her daughters and trips to the beach with her family that includes 2 dogs, Betty and Suzy.
